The xbox one has a slight edge in 5 of the reviews and keeping equal in the others.

What do you think about this? Can we really even assign a point value to a console? Is one console better depending on what you'd be using it for?

Reviewing consoles is stupid imo.

Give an opinion and some pros and cons but anything more is pointless.

Xbox One on day one. Gonna miss my job, well not really.

It doesn't matter what those "reviewers" say. If the Xbox One gets a slightly higher rating, it just means that M$ spent a little more money advertising on the site than Sony...

Taking an unbiased opinion since I've owned both the 360 and the PS3: I find it stupid to review consoles AT ALL (or at least once they've been launched). Why not leave it for the end of its cycle, or at least one the company decides to remodel it. Considering all the software updates that are going to be occurring (in addition to developers getting better and better at utilizing the hardware), it would be like reviewing an alpha build of a game.

I agree that giving a number rating when the console is brand new is really really dumb.

Still, it's nice to see that the sites who are giving a number grade are scoring them pretty evenly which just shows all the "antihype" people were giving the X1 wasn't fully justified.

Fanboy? I'm not a fan of either console. I have no plans to buy them. Just saying, the reviews mean nothing.
