Is there really any problems

With the x1. I have it preordered and gotta wait to get out of work. Is there anything I should expect or worry about. I want to get the extended warranty through toys r us where im buying and wife works but if not anything major I don't want to worry about it

Yes one out of four Xbox do not work.

So far the only consistent problem that has popped up with any frequency is the non functional disc drive. You won't need a warranty for that since you'll know as soon as you put a disc in.

There will always be problems with electronics, especially a new item on the market. Luckily it's usually only a very small percentage.

If I were you I wouldn't worry. Set it up and enjoy.

I have two at my house and my buddy has been using his all day. So at least 3 work. It's too early to tell what the defective rate is going to be.

We'll if so I will just send it to ms and get a new one. I'm sure mine will be fine. Even though I have bad luck with stuff. I'm pretty pumped for it. Longest work day of my life

You might want to look at the first page of the topic list again?

People are showing very real problems but they are in the minority of x1 owners. You should still have a very good chance of buying a good one.

If this happened I just tell ms and get a new one?

I guess If it were to happen I just send it back or whatever no biggie. Or go back to where I got it.
