HDMI Splitter Question

#1monkeygovernorPosted 11/22/2013 6:07:33 PM
So I was thinking of picking up a HDMI Splitter (ex: Rocketfish - 2-Way HDMI Splitter) from Fry's Electronics or Bestbuy.

What I want to do is split my Cable Box to go directly to the TV and to the Xbox One. Anyone know if this will be an issue or not? That way I can use the Xbox One interface if I'm on that input or if I don't feel like turning it on and using it, I can just switch to the primary input and use the remote.

Thanks for any assistance before I go out and buy one.

That's a great idea, don't know why that wasn't thought of before...

Thanks for the quick reply. Going to get one at Fry's for about $20 (passing on the RocketFish since it's overpriced).

Using a $20 Radio Shack HDMI splitter here,
no problems, no degradation, works great.
Passive - no power supply.
