Xbox Live stayed up, thats the difference

As we go into a gen were games are going to get more and more of a connected experience, I just couldnt trust Sony to deliver that based on past experience. And sure enough, PSN dropped off for a couple days at launch. Live seemed to handle the launch very well. The update was super quick and I downloaded BF4 in a good time.

I bet psn is still having problems, the fanboys will never admit it tho.

Also the x1 user interface is amazing especially compared to ps4s. Ps4s ui really cant even compete with 360s.

This is why I'm never going to get a ps4

since day one, i was always able to sign-onto the PS4 and play online.

Grow up.

Glad DmC shipped a million copies and was a success. Supporting risk-takers and change is how the industry grows.

Yeah, i expected both to go down or be very slow the first day or two. aside from a few people who reported update wackiness, the xbone servers seemed to hold up. seems after the first couple of days, the ps4 servers are solid now as well.

I don't always Troll on the internet. But when I do, I make it the Xbox-One forums...

Some people had problems but XBL wasn't down long, something like 15 min from the reports I read.

Pros: The pills were there.
Cons: So was the tank.

As an owner of both consoles ( only got my pre-order for xb1 on wed though), I can say you're pretty much right.

PSN was rough last weekend and caused problems with pretty much anything you did on the console (since Sunday, its worked amazing and everything has been great), and I was sort of expecting the same thing on xb1, but it has worked flawlessly for me so far.

Maybe the extra week gave microsoft a better idea of what to expect and prepare for. Anyway, I hope both systems succeed, and the only problems I have are what great games to choose.

A biased statement from a reliable shill. PSN dropped off for two hours due to massive log-ins. Check the numbers.

yes i did. Don't really care how the "rest of the country" was, i was online from day one and was never signed out. Some features had some problems, but i was always able to see my friends list, sync trophies, download from the store, and play online with no issues.

PSN was down for a large part of launch weekend for most people.
