Will AAA titles cause budget issues for developers/publishers in the long run?

The ever-increasing player demand for more content, and the developers need to always innovate seems like it could turn out to be far too big a budget problem for video games in this generation. I wanted to know what you guys thought about that, because I remember an article Gamestop did with one of Ubisofts developers and how he mentioned that the constant demand for AAA titles will be backbreaking in the future.

I think what will happen is we will eventually hit a model similar to big blockbuster movies. A small number of publishers will be able to finance these kinds of games and we will see them with certain regularity at certain times of the year.

It's already kind of that way now.

More and more things will start to be reused, much more than it is now. Why pay big money for people to create something new (whether it be new features for the engine or new characters), when it can just be reused from something else?
This feels warm. What is this feeling? Is it of warmth?
