it wasn't long ago, and it actually happened. now the highs for milk creep over 5, cheese, 4 dollar bread, seriously, if this is now wth am i, we, gonna say when WE'RE OLD.
things can still balance out.

Doubtful when they are selling the way they do at current prices.

However the sweet spot for massive sales will remain in the $200 - $300 range, they know it and we know it.
What is brutal for MS is having that $100 Kinect boat anchor, I hate to harp on it but unless they break it up or just price match the PS4 with it included PS4 is always going to have a sales edge due to price

If we are honestly able to get a decade of great games out of both systems then I most definitely count $399.99 and $499.99 as bargains.

If we're all blaming it on inflation, how come games have only rose by 10-20%? Console games cost around $50 going back to even the early '90s. If inflation were the only reason for price increase, we'd be paying $100-$120 for our games now.

Because games were ridiculously overpriced back then...

And Forza 5 costs anywhere between 60-110 + 2200 in microtransactions
