I own an Xbox One and the install times are crazy. its at least be 45 minutes for the 3 games I own. the update sizes for games are crazy too, 5gb for DR3!. PS3 did the same thing, if I didn't play a game for a few months then I would have to wait 30 minutes for an update install. its why I eventually just stopped playing it and stuck to the 360. I feel like I might be choosing ps4 over xbox one when I eventually have both systems. sitting here wishing I could play some DR3 but still waiting on the ridiculous 5gb update install.

Yeah update files are bigger on PS4 and Xbox One but I never had a 5GB update for DR3...haven't played it in a couple of days though. Apparently that's why.

duh because ps4 isn't installing the whole game, they already said its just a cache.

anyone that thinks 30 gig can install in 30 secs needs their head checked

True, but even if it's not a full install... fact is that the PS4 gets you playing the game in less than a minute, while it's much longer for the Xbox One. Add to that that the PS4 is more powerful and gets better performance/resolution in games, $100 cheaper and more simple to use... well, it does kinda make the XO seem almost redundant in comparison.

Ok, its been over a month now since we've been talking about this. Has Microsoft addressed this problem with their OS being so much slower than Sony's? This is a pretty lame offering from such a respected software company.
