Do you think the and Xbox one could've used a extra month or 2 of development!

I know they couldn't possible have afforded to let Sony have the holiday season to themselves, but do you think a little more development would've fixed any issues with the console right now? Or is it fine the way it is.

The hardware problems aren't really something that could have been fixed with R&D, MS should have just coughed up the extra 20 cents per console and paid for better made materials.

Hardware wouldn't have changed.

The software could have been tweaked more but no need to delay the hardware when the software is 99% of the way there.

All they need to do now is bug fix and increase stability, then they can go on and add features to the UI that people want/will be helpful.

Sure the software/UI could've used a bit of tweaking, but I don't think MS could've waited that much longer. Besides its nothing future system updates can't fix. PS4's GUI is smooth, but it's lacking alot of features I missed from the PS3. It's feels very limited, but again, there will be updates until it is perfected - just like last gen.

Yes these 2-3 extra months would have probably avoided the Xbone launch disaster.
