Pay a 621 dollar deposit otherwise wait two weeks? That seems pretty expensive, it's even more than the cost of the console!

You're not paying a for it. You're putting in money that they can take if you're trying to scam them, and they don't get the xbox you say you sent to them. When they get your xbox, they return the money.

Generally, it is for people who don't want to wait for their broken system to be shipped and processed before getting a working system.

I'm guessing it's that lying duchebag sony fanboy that wrote the article at Cinemablend? Willie Usher?

So Microsoft gives the option of sending it in for free, or you can pay to get one sent to you immediately... and that's bad?

What kind of a dumbass would try to write a story to make it look like a bad thing?

they didn't charge it, but there's a hold on your account for that $523...so the funds aren't available and they may as well have charged your card. It's ridiculous..."Let us hold your money hostage because we f***** up and sold a you a broken console or wait close to a month to get it replaced."

I can't believe people are essentially praising MS for releasing a console that major news outlets are reporting that as many as 30% may be defective.

You don't even have to pay them they are just holding the money in your account in case you scam them
