Now that the Xbox one is out, what is the "power of the cloud" supposed to be?

Just curious. I don't own a Xbox one or ps4 but I heard a lot about the power of the cloud while the Xbox one was being hyped. Now that's it's released, can anyone demonstrate the power of the cloud to me and it's uses for gaming (outside of dedicated servers which both consoles have)

Nothing. Lies essentially because if it was real then they would have been able to shut off the alway online thing.

Same stuff that ps3 uses. Nothing new.

Not going to lie...haven't noticed the cloud at all...don't know if anything is being backed up to it or if that is where my game saves go.

I made a topic similar to this and no one could answer it. I think it's just a made up thing by MS to try and make the Xbox sound more powerful then it really is since it lacks the components that Sony has in it's PS4.

I hate cloud-driven devices with a passion. I also hate that cloud computing was ever coined and brought to the table. And I know Microsoft isn't to blame for starting it, it is their fault for adopting it.

Thank the Nine that it's optional on most devices and I just avoid it.

The Drivatar system in Forza 5 apparently uses the cloud. Mind you, I think I'd prefer the game to just have the standard driver AI as I prefer to be the only insane person on the road. ;)
Cheating has gone hand-in-hand with gaming for centuries. Video games in particular often have cheats built right into the game.

as I understand it...It's supposed to help things run smoother on games. Supposed to handle small processing tasks in the background to help make the experience more fluid. So..if it's supposed to work the way MS has been marketing's not something you'd be able to pinpoint and say.. "RIGHT THERE!! THERE IT WAS! CLOUD POWER!!!" lol. That was my understanding of cloud power...i could be idk.
