I've had some issues with BF4 locking up at certain points and I have to eject the disk to reload it. Is there a way of reloading a game without needing to eject it and reinsert to reload?

Go to home screen, select the game's tile and press Menu (start button), you can then quit it and restart it.

Go to dashboard, hit the "start/menu" button over the game screen and you'll see an option to quit.

odd, I don't see that option. I only see Go full screen, pin to home, see in xbox store and show all add-ons. No quit or anything... /
