Tc I feel where your coming from. It's just fun and enjoyable to play for a technical competitive fighter or a button masher...
I'd like to see
Power Stone
Bushido Blade
Eternal Champions

nope my opinion is if they do sports and fighting games should never cost more than $20 , plus they tried to hype it up so much and it is a bare bones experience when compared to other fighting games out there. All I hear is another zombie game wtf well every year it is the same sports games over and over and at best they update the roster and might add 1 new mode and people still buy the garbage, now the basketball game looks like the really tried to freshen it

I used to like fighting games but then I stopped liking them. They just seem too simple for a $60 price tag.

KI is only $20.00 ($40.00 for the extra stuffs)

Topic= yes. Reboot Samurai Shodown, please.

They did reboot Samurai Shodown on the 360. It was awful. Or do you mean re-reboot it to undo the damage that Samurai Shodown Sen did the brand?

I bought Samurai Shodown Sen off Games on Demand and deleted it less than an hour later. :(
I meant a reboot of Samurai Showdown in 2D using the new KI engine, visually.

I'm surprised by all of the Bloody Roar love. It is my choice also. I was big into fighters in the Saturn / PS / Dreamcast years. I think what has turned me off on most of my old favorites is all the DLC and updated versions...of course having a half dozen versions of the same game is not new for Capcom.

Bloody Roar is definitely my top pic. Probably followed by Rival Schools and Fighting Vipers (tie). I don't count Power Stone as a fighting game. At least not in the traditional sense...arena fighter or something like that maybe. Anyway I do love me some Power Stone and I would be hard press to pick between it or Bloody Roar. If you ARE counting Power Stone than I will throw Kung-Fu Chaos on my "hope to return list" since it was basically Power Stone with extra mini games thrown in between fights.

Quote:So... more fighters where button mashing is viable? Honestly I would rather keep those kind of fighters at a bare minimum, speaking as a competitive fighting game player, but I can see where you're coming from, not being a fighting game player.
@Natatteru

Speaking as a competitive fighting game player? Apparently not if you think button mashing works in KI. That was the most ignorant thing I have read all day. And I'm on the GameFAQs Xbone board.

Truth. Just because your average player can mash out a 15-20 hit combo doesn't mean they'd be viable against someone who knows what they're doing.

no they need to make more original games, I don't want next gen to be infested with remakes
