Are you worried about space? Because those automatically delete.

turn dvr off
I buy DLC. If that makes me a "sheep" then oh well. Don't like it? Oh well, get over it.

Currently the only way to stop the auto recording is to turn the GameDVR off completely. However, this also prevents you from saying "Xbox Record That" if you actually want to record something.

It would be nice if you could turn off the auto record, but I don't think that is actually an issue for Microsoft to address. I think that is an issue for individual developers to address in the options menu of their games. The XBOne doesn't know that your keeper saved a goal, the FIFA software does, so EA would need to give you the option.
I own a XBOne, PS3, XBOX360, and Wii. I'm in it for the gameplay, not the logo on the box. Can you say the same?

It is in setting->preferences, but that seems to disable the ability to say "Xbox record that" which I like having.

Anyone know if you can stop games from doing it by themselves but still be able to record when you want.

My upload consists of 85 clips at the moment because Peggle 2 abuses the upload. I have had it record the same shot 3 times on multiple occasions.

I still want to use "xbox record that" ability but sometimes its a pain in d a$$ to go through all clips to find which one that i want to edit
Lets hope microsoft can turn off auto clip recording in the future

I know - So annoying. I had to turn it off bc Peggle 2. It's a constant auto-record on some levels!
