Streaming videos from your PC to XB1

Not talking about the extender or media center. On the 360 you'd hit the guide button, push right once to the "media" blade, select "system video player", then pick your PC. On the Xbox One it's this stupid setup where you have to go to your computer and right click and choose "play to". However, it does not work for me. Do I have to be in a certain menu on the XB1 or use a specific file type? AVI (Xvid) files worked on the 360 but the "play to" for the XB1 didn't.

Did you install and run the Xbox Video app?

IIRC your pc needs to be running windows 8 to currently stream to the XB1.
Steam: SirLimbo / Xbox Live: SirLimbo / Playstation Network = Sir-Limbo

It can be done on Windows 7, you just need to add the xbox one to your list of devices to allow access....and have the xbox video app on your One.
Have a shpadoinkle day!

I've heard others who have Windows 7 say it works for them. I have installed the app on my XB1 and shared it on WMP on my PC.
