The reason for the hate on the Xbox One still is...

#1Jedi454Posted 12/28/2013 5:40:06 PM
The fact that Microsoft are doing so well against Sony. Fanboys want to believe that Sony will dominate the gaming market, but they're denial with the fact that PC gaming and Xbox gaming are peaking higher and higher, which this ends up worrying them, so they have to try and persuade fellow users of forums that the Ps4 is a better choice over the Xbox One. Quite a few people saying something negative about the Xbox One to demean it. Nobody has even mentioned how you can't even listen to music on your Ps4 while playing game, but I guess nobody listens to music anyway. The fact is, people need to be respectful of someone's decision.

One of my best friends is a Sony gamer since the Ps2 and he will be getting a Ps4 next year, but I respect his choice and he respects mine because we're adults.

Ive said it before and ill say it again here. The X1 costs $100 more and is still selling millions of units. Despite all the internet hate and the higher price tag, people are still purchasing the console because they know its got a LOT to offer.

PS3 outsold Xbox 360 and several major gaming markets really don't like Microsoft, so...peaking higher?

Historically, the XBox consoles have better libraries for western gamers. It is mostly weeaboos that favour the PlayStation's library.

Now that said, I have owned all PlayStation consoles thus far (except #4). But, it wasn't for quirky Japanese games. It was for free online, SOCOM, variety, whatever. At this point, I may as well switch to the XBox Won.

Ps2 = 158million units Xbox = 24million+ units
Ps3 = 80million+ units Xbox 360 = 80million+ units

Oh you're right, the Xbox's are definitely not peaking.

The majority of X1 buyers don't use websites or forums to research their purchase. It's brand loyalty. CoD & Fifa players.

I owned a PS1 and a PS2. Then I switched to Xbox, got an Xbox 360 in '06. Wasn't impressed with the PS3 library save for maybe 5 games. All my IRL friends are on Xbox so it made sense for me to stick with it. Wife got me a bundled X1 which set us back 700+ and got me an extra year of Live. Also got a giftcard good for 2 more games.
