That truly is a crying shame.

Best hopes, and wishes to those devs in a successful restart!

This would be a good spot for MS and/or Sony to step up and resupply a studio like this. You need this kind of creativity to continue.

Phil Spencer is looking into it.

Hm... possible XB1 exclusive? In more recent tweets, he's said he's reached out to them to see if they could help.

XB1 exclusive or no, I hope it comes to fruition. It looks really cool.

I've heard both sides are claiming this to be exclusive but so far nothing has been said. but so far their games have come out to xbox PS and Windows so I don't think this one will be any different

I really hope this game can be salvaged. I was looking forward to it more than some of the big-dev games, just exploring the universe. (I had such big plans of finding that red-grassed planet in the trailer and naming it Gallifrey. *sniff*) Even if it ends up on a system where I can't play it, I still want it to exist. This is the kind of game that should exist.

I'd buy this game regardless of critical/fan reception, just because it looks fun to mess around with. If it ends up on a system I don't own (which is pretty much only Wii U) and it's received well, I'd buy a system to play this game. I wouldn't buy the system for any single game if fans and critics hated it, though.

This is why responsible adults buy insurance.

I cannot find much pity for the developer who fails to protect their business.

If you live/own property in a flood plain you can't get flood insurance.
