Aside from price, why is the Wii U the better buy over Xbone One?

Anybody who gives a serious response to this (whether Pro-MS or Pro-Nintendo) needs to have their head examined.

It's not. Just like the Xone isn't a better buy than the PS4 imo

People only look at games currently out to decide their purchases. If your only buying one system, you should look at all upcoming games and look at each consoles makers history. In terms of games its Sony > Microsoft > Nintendo last gen, Sony only over MS because of Japanese games and 1st party support.

WiiU doesn't have a single next gen exclusive multiplat announced. Games like The Division, FF15, MGS5 etc. All the games coming out for it are Nintendo games and games that are only getting ports because of X360 and PS3 versions like Watch Dogs.

Unless you want a system with Mario and more Mario, Xone and PS4 are better buys than the WiiU simply looking at their lifespan over the next few years.

Hating on the PS4 and WiiU is stupid, as is hating on the Xbox One. All have games that cannot be played elsewhere that are awesome.

In my opinion, you can't really go wrong with Nintendo games. They're always fresh and fun. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy Xbox games though.

It's not. Unless you're a massive Nintendo fan. X1 will eventually outsell the wii U, have a far superior lineup of 3rd party titles as well as superior online and overall system capabilities outside of games.

Wii U will have better 1st party titles. That's about it.

Which is why having a Wii U AND an X1 is the only way to go this gen. ;-)

Ehh. Hard not to factor in price. You can get two Wii U's for the price of one Xbone. That being said, worst option is buying PS4 + Xbone but not Wii U.
