So is the Xbox One easier to program than PS4?

Every Dev blog that i have read mentioning that PS4 is easier to develop for. Something to do with the ram in the Xbox One.

I hope you`re joking. The Xbox One`s memory is no where near as hellish as Cell was.

the ps4 dev tools are much more mature than the xbox one tools up to launch.

there are lots of updates i think that are being pushed to xbox one tools but because of how the OS was at the same time going through lots of changes due to the drm change and late features nothing was completely finalized until late.

im sure the ps4 also was getting os level updates frequently but they were at a much futher along place at the time.

so eventually both consoles will probably near the same level of difficulty unless developers want to utlize ms azure cloud and utilization of the esram on the xbox one.

I've heard the same. Ironically, the eSRAM is what is making the One more difficult to program for when that was supposed to be their answer to the PS4's RAM. But it is still easy to program for, it just requires a bit more work than the PS4
