How come when I turn off my system, sometimes it changed my Nat to Strict?

I am having issues with my NAT settings, and achievements...sometimes, when I turn off my system, as expected, everything is fine. However, other times, I can't connect to games/achievements don't pop...I can my NAT settings, and for some unknown reason, the system changes itself from Open to Strict! Why is this happening? The only way I can fix this is to physically unplug the system, and boot it up again. I also have a terrible time logging in with Kinect, and saying "Xbox On". I don't know if that's part of the problem or not, but this is really annoying. Any thoughts? Unplugging my system everyday is simply unacceptable for this time and age

Do you have your IP set to automatic or manual?

This time I unplugged, and it still says Strict...I have no problem on Xbox 360, or any other system...it is only this one

Try setting a manual IP and DNS as well. For the DNS just write down what it gives you for its automatic one and enter it manually. For your IP just go a bit high or low (if it is .105 in automatic go to .15 for the last didgets) and then go into your router settings and open the ports in this guide: http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/networking/network-ports-used-xbox-live

Different routers require different steps to open ports. Also make sure Upnp is enabled.
