Can you convince me to buy the XBox One?

TC you basically star in all the games the system offers and your citizens believe you to be heroes and not murderous sheep. Do your duty as a patriot any by the One.

Well I figured my occupation would factor in on one or a few responses. Yes, I am in the military. Yes, I have been to many many other countries supporting the United States. Yes, I have served with pride for 13 years. Will I apologize for it? No. Please continue to make this discussion about my help in purchasing the XBox One and not about my job. Thanks!

Here's a good list of reasons, if not a bit old:

Must be nice to be sent on a deployment and then get to play video games the whole time. That's the Chair Force for you though.

(All seriousness, good luck out there brother.)

It's fun. New games, slightly better graphics. Games will get better and better. Get it.

If you buy an Xbox One, Microsoft will feed a starving child overseas for a month. If you don't, however; they will kill one.

Your call.

Thanks for the inputs. In all honesty, I'm going to wait for a price drop and a version without the Kinect. I guess I'm going to kill a kid. Dang.

Exactly how much time do you have to game while on deployment and how big is your backlog? If you're fairly busy with gaming on the side I wouldn't buy an Xbox One, your 360 should hold you over fine. If you have a ridiculous amount of time to game somehow then I'd go ahead and buy it.

I would not however wait for a Kinectless model, such a sku has been shot down and there has been zero indication they have that idea in the works. Wait for a price drop if you choose, I guess they will have one around this time next year or by summer 2015
