I thought the same thing when I first started using it, but I can say without hesitation within a few hours of using it, it feels way more right. I don't know. There's something just way more organic about holding it. I've gone back to 360 quite a bit to play NHL '14, because I needs me my hockey fix, and the 360 controller just feels like a clunky piece of deadweight in comparison.
I'd say just muddle through the X1 controller for a while, I hope you settle into the new controller. I'm not offering promises because it's definitely a matter of taste, but in my opinion, it really does grow on you. --- GT: NE OBL1V1SCAR1S
The rough edges on the sticks bug me, but other than that it feels at least as good as the 360 controller to me. I didn't have any trouble with the shoulder buttons. And the trigger feedback in Forza was actually pretty useful.
But I wish there was a purely wired version and that the console had USB ports on the front. And just like the 360, I wish the controller were bigger - about the size of the OXBOX controller would be good for me. --- Cheating has gone hand-in-hand with gaming for centuries. Video games in particular often have cheats built right into the game.
