Online gaming uses minimal data.

Also, all those saying unlimited, make sure you have checked the fine print to make sure there are no 'fair usage' caps in place.

This is a common tactic in the uk, mainly with phone data where Unlimited means 500mb a month with some providers!

America has the same thing from Comcast
500GB of data
or 5000minutes on the phone (if you use VOIP)

We might have a limit, but I have the top tier cable, phone, and internet plan, so I have never come close to any limit they might have, and we use a ton of Netflix, and I game every day.

I just found out last week that I have a limit of 250GB a month. I'm getting around 25-30mbs down and 8-10 up consistently for speed.

However, I checked, and even with tons of streaming and like 9 always connected devices, we never even get close to the limit. Of course, I also don't download a lot of large files though.

ALL games should have a Single Player mode. I can always guarantee I want to play when I turn on my system. I can't guarantee others will at the same time.

Comcast supposedly has a 250 gig limit but it's not "in place at this time".

Last month I used about 320 gigs.

I'm Canadian, we have an 80 gig cap. During typical school months I'll do the bulk of downloading at school, leaving home internet for gaming, light downloads, some youtube, and typical internet surfing.

This is why I will not go all digital this gen. I can afford downloading a couple of arcade games per month but when one game hits for over 50% of the monthly allowance, can't do that.

Once you hit the limit they probably throttle you down.

All the major USA internet providers have a data limit, but they dont tell you that they do. They hide it in the fine print most people dont read
