Why are the Xbox One sales dropping ?

Hi everyone,

The Xbox One and the PS4 were both neck to neck in December with two million units sold each.

Yet since then gamers only bought one million Xbox One instead of two.

Why are the Xbox One sales dropping ?

Does it really matter? This whole console war thing is pathetic.

When Xbox One launched PS4 was over a million units ahead. It's pretty much the same gap now, despite PS4 being $100 cheaper and available in 35 more territories.

Sales are dependent on demand, supply and the populace it is available to among other things.

While XBO stayed available in 13 countries during the holidays, outgrowing its demand, the PS4 gradually launched in 48, causing shortages pretty much everywhere.

We'll have to wait and see if Sony that way gave MS a chance to get a grip on the US.

So it was a mistake from Microsoft then, creating a more expensive device and selling it in very few countries ?

And we can expect the gap to grow even wider, since the PS4 is still $100 cheaper and available in 35 more territories ?

No, we can expect it to narrow once Xbox is released in those territories.
