Why is the Xbox One losing to the PS4 in your opinion?

And do you think it will ever overtake it?

The competition is close enough that it shouldn't matter to anyone. If it matters, well, holy crap get some new hobbies.

^ Basically what I was going to say. Unless your personal income is directly related to how well each console is selling, I don't see it as a valuable topic of discussion.

The PS4 is $100 cheaper and PS+ is also cheaper. The economy is in terrible shape and consumers are very vulnerable to high prices. The PS4 is simply more affordable and that is why it is selling better. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out. With the Xbox one you are talking about a $500 console, $60 for new releases, along with a monthly fee if you want to play online multiplayer, and taxes to boot. It's ridiculous, not in this economy it's going to sell well.

If the Xbox one wants to beat the PS4, they would have to lower cost. Make the Xbox one $350, lower the cost for XBL gold, lower the retail cost for video games from $60 to $40.

By the end of the year they'll be about the same when it comes to sales. I don't care who owns more of what system. All I care about is that developers continue making games for the system I own.
