why would anybody buy Titanfall on PC?

now I love PC and don't get me wrong I know it will look better on PC

but it seems like Microsoft is betting the company on this game well this and Halo 5

so what's your take on this?

PC pre-orders are around 50,000
Xbox one right around 200,000

buy the game that looks better or by the game with the bigger community ?

Look out!

most PC gamers buy digitally so there's no reason to pre-order

Easy people who dont own an XB1, people who have friends on PC , or people putting hope in modding will make the game even better as modding usually does(skyrim/fallout). Point is other than larger community, which is not always a good thing, PC will have more going for it in the long run.

If I didn't have an Xbox One and I had a PC gaming rig I'd buy Titanfall on PC...

I have a gaming rig and I'm still buying it on the XB1. More people I know will be buying it for that platform. Maybe somewhere down the line if it goes on sale for PC I will pick it up but right now my XB1 seems like the best place for me to play it.

Because it will look better, play better, and the vast majority of people on PC buy digitally so there is no point in preordering.

Also, modding. Something the XB1 doesn't have.

This explains the PC pre-orders right here. I use my PC more than anything else, but I just buy everything digital on release day and there is no need to pre-order. I am going to get it on the Xbox One though since everyone I know who is getting it will be getting it on there as well.

On a side note, the devs are sticking by the fact that the Xbox One version is going to be superior to the PC version. Guess we will just have to wait and see if that's the case when it comes out.

I'm not sure how, seeing as how the PC has vastly superior hardware. Unless they are deliberately butchering the PC port to make the XB1 version look better, in which case I will not buy the game at all.

This. The only time I preorder on PC is if its massively discounted (like getting Bioshock Infinite for $35 + 4 free games with it) or getting Metal Gear Rising for 50% off.

If there's nothing enticing, I'll just buy it on release.

There's no such thing as Physical PC games. Physical boxes you buy are digital games in a plastic box.
