That's what happens when you produce Nickelback.

Ugh... Don't remind me. About 11 years ago we made fun of the lead singer at a restaurant until he left.

I remember Mario 3 for NES was $93.99 when I got it. TMNT Turtles in time and other select SNES titles were hovering just under or just over $100

Yeah, the is screwed even worse for some reason.

1 = $1.6 (and has done for a while now)

Games have gone from Xbox 360 40 ($63~) to xbone/PS4 60 (max, some as low as 50) which is $90+ (or $80+ at 50).

Sucks for us!

While you are correct our price does include tax, their tax ( the op Canada ) goes from 0 - 15% even when you add tax it's still lower than here ( uk ).

Regardless how it is we get shafted the most, 70 on xbox live for DR 3 is bullcrap!

I'm hoping the prices listed on the EB Games Canada site are just placeholder prices.

Nope, these are prices that have actively been changed. One of the ones I saw was the new Donkey Kong Country on Wii U, which is now $54.99, but was previously listed as $49.99.

we have been dealing with higher prices in europe for a long time

i dont really feel sorry when it happens in some places in america

This.

Hell, even the downloaded games are more expensive than retail, they should at least be the same.

Dead Rising download is 70, roughly 126 Canadian.

Hah, yeah, even our RRP retail releases are about 55-60 on current-gen, which is the equivalent of $92-$95USD.

We're not even the WORST off, but America generally has some of the lowest prices.

Cyborg, most new retail games are $80-100 in Australia, I don't think you have anything to be upset about. "But but but Australians earn better wages blah blah blah." Well we're taxed heaps for rubbish.

Is that why they don't tip?
