XBL Party System Is Broken

Seriously why would they make so many changes to it? The 360's version was perfect.

For example, I couldn't invite friends to my AC4 game because the party was a "NBA 2K14" party. So we had to make a completely new party to play the game.

Also, things like having to turn on party chat is pointless.

Did they ever say that they're going to change the party system?

Not sure if they will change it, but I hope they do because I completely agree.

I might when my friends change over, but so far, I have the 360 running through my X1, and I have a chat party going on the old console while I play X1 games, or I am in game chat.

Yep it's broken. People who say it's not are just blind or have been extremely lucky not having any problems.

Can't tell you how many times I've joined my friends party or my friend joins my party and party chat can't be turned on without everyone in the party quitting their games!

The party system, much like the rest of the UI, is a massive step back from the Xbox 360.

It will get fixed. I don't mind the UI, but I would like some more customization options. Maybe something a lot more like Windows 8.1. Instead of just the pin section, I want to make changes to the whole Home Screen.

No battery warning for controller
Won't tell you when friends get online
A lot of menus to check friends list
No organized way of manage messages; no way to send voice messages
No hard disc organization tool
No organization for demos on games marketplace

Not to mention all the apps that crash or load laughably slow.

Look Xbox One is cool and all, but the UI is an ineffective mess.

One thing I would like that even the 360 doesn't have is a SENT MESSAGES page. Sometimes I'll get a message from a friend a couple days later after I already replied to one of theirs. I want to see what I originally replied with.
