Can you play Media Files on the Xbox One???

I havent herd too much about the media features on the Xbox One, but im planning on buying one sometime next month. When i do get one im planning on transferring all my files from my Xbox 360 to my Xbox One. I really hope the Xbox One has atleast the media files the Xbox 360 has

doesn't support external storage yet and doesn't support anything from 360. You can stream from your pc though. Not sure if you have to have windows 8 (i have it) for it to work.

If you have Windows 7 and up, for media files you have a "right click>play to" option. Mouse over "play to" and you should see your xbox, click it and that file will play through the network. This is the only way to play media files right now. I've done it several times and it works great.

If you have Windows 8, you can add all your music to your library, and the xbox music app on Windows 8 will recognize most of it. Then when you log in to the actual xbox, all your music is there for streaming over the internet.
