Yeah man don't hate, appreciate

I'm not he makes good points try watching it some stuff it just facts and it makes sense.

ReviewTechUSA is a joke channel. It honestly has to be. I refuse to think that one person (Rich) can be so close-minded and yet believe EVERY article that's sent to him.

Maybe I should write up an article about how playing games on a PC causes people to lose their souls to an electronic demon. He'll probably believe that too.

He seems really dense, his videos are usually filled with junk and bad info, I am surprised people even care he exists anymore.

He... I kid you not... posted a video one time where he thought that andriod/iPad what ever games where gonna kill consoles off or some such thing... yeah...

Anyway Tomb Raider looks like it is gonna be really good, and the preorder bonus justifies the price to me along with the improvements.

What truth? I watched the video, and the guy came across in that one as just having a terrible case of sour grapes.

Seriously, he was a total whiner in that. Like has been said before, this version of the game is just a GOTY edition with a different name, and made for the next consoles.

It's actually very SMART to market the GOTY version of the game on the new consoles, as software sales for the old ones will be slowing down while software for the new ones will be picking up, as people rush forward to adapt the new shiny pretty toy in their lives. If the Definitive Edition had been made for the old consoles, you can guarantee that it would have seen less sales going forward than having it on 8th gen.

Considering both the Xbone and PS4 broke sales records by a large amount, it stands to reason that they both will continue to do so, and the total number of consoles sold through the entire 8th gen will be much higher than it was for the 7th (barring Wii sales, which were insane)

With that logic, say total console sales near year 8 of the 8th gen reach 300m total units, a bit less than double 7th gen sales. With the game being made available digitally, and of course sales and price drops down the line for it, you will see more people buying it as years go on than you would if the game hadn't been touched up and only released on 7th gen.

It isn't hard to figure out why they did this the way they did. SE has shifted their focus on the game from being a quick cash-in like they wanted (complaining about not making back costs despite selling millions of copies) and instead chosen to make it a longer investment which will pay more over a longer time, once they realized people ARE still buying the old version new, and they just became profitable on it.

Simple logic people. Literally took me about 10 minutes to come to those conclusions when i sat to think about it. People like Rich from ReviewTechUSA are only around to jump on bandwagons and spew out the same nonsense other people are, without doing any research or even thinking about the subjects themselves. They do it simply for the knee-jerk and shock factors, which will hopefully get them more views or subscriptions.

I have discovered the perfect game. It is called Starbound, and shall be played forever.

I may end up buying this game again somebody STOP ME.

The fact that its not 60fps on either console let's you know its half assed. Mind you I don't care about the frame rate in general but if you're going to call something definitive and its a port it should be just that.

That doesn't mean it is half assed at all. This is easily one of the top 5 visually impressive games I have ever played on PC. There is no way they could make this game look incredible while maintaining 60fps on consoles when it can be difficult to even get to 60 on gaming PC's that aren't high end.

Plus even most higher-end gaming PC's choked trying to run Tress FX. At the very least 95% of people got framerate drops when the camera got too close to her head. You pretty much need the modern current cutting-edge video cards to get Tress FX to run at a smooth, consistent framerate. The fact that they got it running on the PS4 at a consistent 30FPS, with all this other physics stuff added, at 1080P, is an impressive feat in itself.

It's 60 FPS on PS4. They said so on Gamesradar's twitch feed today.

Go to 50:30 in this video http://www.twitch.tv/gamesradar/b/497373767

The fact that they dont talk about the Xbox One version makes me wonder about its FPS though

Thanks for the twitch link, looking forward to getting the game even MORE now.

Also I had to make do with the fps being 30 on Xbox 360, so that does not bother me too much (even thought I would have liked 60fps)

Gonna call it now though, people seem to not care about TR:DE but are gonna come crawling out of the wood works to hold the PS4 version up over the Xbox One version... yeah... even though this game does not matter to them.
