I have the PS4 version and to be honest, the frame rate is pretty unstable. I'd say it drops to the 40's relatively often.

Am I missing something here because going to your PSN profile indicates you don't have TR at all:

Haven't earned any trophies yet. Game is surprisingly stingy with trophies.

Frame rate does matter to me but i find it ironic that a game like TR that people enjoyed a year ago at 30fps is now mocked for not being a pseudo 60fps on xbox one yet when the ps4 couldn't hold Ghosts at 60fps the ponies said "frame rate is not a big deal as long as its over 30...." Same thing they said about Drive club being 30fps so far.

I think framerate is situational. Having a solid 60 fps is necessarily for fast moving games like fighting games and FPS. But stuff like action adventure games are kind of minimal and a non-issue when it comes to gameplay.

I think people who are more used to playing on PC's too are more acclimated to 60 FPS on shooters. It's actually a little jarring for some console players just getting into it. I know it felt extremely weird for me going from playing BF4 on the 360 to the XBO. The controls felt extremely sensitive too me, a lot of players told me it was because of the increased framerate.

TC be quiet, if it was 60fps on X1 and 30 on ps4 then all the xbots would be acting high n mighty and you wouldnt say jack, so spare us your crap

That's true.

Common tribal psychology. take sides with similar preferences. Then only support news that caters to them. If NOT, then you get the Wii U board! Same **** every day.

"EHHH those game "journalists" are stupid! I NEVER take them seriously anyway!" So they boycott Gamespot, IGN, Gameinformer, GT, Kotaku, anybody... because they can't handle the facts they're reporting.

But once GOOD news gets reported--- "YAY This website is COOL now! GameSpot likes my console so I like dem too. time to share links"

30fps....60fps....SAME GAME IN THE END!!

Then you should ask devs to make next gen games at 15FPS then. Still very enjoyable and pleasing to the eye.

There's a pretty big difference between 60fps and 30fps, lol. There's a reason COD did so well last gen. Being 60fps played a big role in that..

uhhh. no. the reason COD did so good is because its popular amongst a large amount of teenagers who have no problem at all getting their parents to buy the latest november rehash of the franchise in time for christmas to play that with all their other friends from school who's parents also have no problems doing the same thing.

60fps was not the main selling point for the call of duty franchise. kids love trendy crap and flock to it because the next cool kid was playing it so they needed to play it too, no matter how terrible or regurgitated the game may be. even if it ran 30fps that game would still sell decently because of its audience. not its framerate.

Tomb Raider.....720P....1080P....

Same game as well.....

It's such a big deal why?? Few more pixels? Slightly smoother screen....

But it's the same damn game....

All these PS4 owners act like they have discovered the Holy Grail or Fountain of Youth like 60fps is groundbreaking news...

How about I get this for my gaming PC and slap a few texture mods on it, run it 60fps and make it look even "better" than the PS4 version and then we can all come back and brag that I played the same game as you and the mod didn't change the game at all!!!......

There are no texture mods for PC equivalent to the PS4 or Xbox One version. You have another NBA 2K14 situation on your hands hermit. Well at least you do with PS4 as it is 60fps.

Vanilla Tomb Raider for the PC already looks better than both the rehashed versions on Xbone and PS4

Actually no it doesn't. Which really hurts PC fanboy's feelings. They are a very sensitive, yet cocky bunch.
