I'm kinda annoyed here. I was hoping they would atleast give me my one one back, it had a squeaky fan (probably needed oil or something).

Mine was new, fingerprint, dust and scratch free and now I got one with scratches, cellotape residue and the vents are dusty, even the disc tray had dust stuck in it.

Thanks microsoft!

If I believed you, I would say call MS support and complain. Maybe they'll send you a better one.

Document it and send it back. That doesn't sound acceptable at all.

I sent it off on the 10th Jan, got it today, which is 17 days, I want to game, so I don't want to wait another 2-3 weeks. I have sent a complaint to microsoft. I will say, in the past, with the 360 repairs, they did fine, plus it was super quick since it was sent to Ireland and not Czech.

I had this happen with a laptop once. The motherboard fried under warranty and they basically took my hard drive out and put it into another laptop of the same kind. The replacement had a broken number 5 key and the stickers ripped off with the sticky residue left behind. They even were smart enough to remove the serial number sticker and basically half hearted glue it onto the "new" shell.

Getting them to confirm this wasn't my original machine was a total pain. All together it took about 2 months to get it sorted out. What a mess. They ended up sending me a new stock of the machine w/o a hard drive then I could send the old one back.

Just track all your complaints and their replys. They will sometimes change what they say several times.
