Why preorder? Is there only a certain amount of digital copies? Hahaha.

The Xbox One board should be renamed to the Official "Troll Here" board.

Might be more for pre order dlc but I never saw a pre order yet for anything.

Well, the obvious reasoning would be to have the game or DLC automatically download the moment the game is available, so if your busy it could download and be done by the time your ready to play. I actually hoped the One would be able to do something like that, but it can't. I bought Tomb Raider at work last night and when I got home this morning it showed it in my games and apps but with the cloud symbol and "ready to install" on it. It would have been a whole lot more convenient if it could have automatically downloaded while I was working so I could have started it up now that I'm home. I know on the 360 you could do that, so I assume eventually it will be like that with the One. Unfortunately, you can't preorder on the One at this time.

Pre-ordering games is dumb. Waiting for reviews/word of mouth is smart.

Honestly, I don't know. Wonder if they could do something like steam where you can pre order the game, at a certain point it downloads then upon release it unlocks and your off playing right away.

Pre-order is pointless without being able to pre-load. They were asked back in June about pre-loading and they said it is a feature that will come in the future.

Most PS games allow you to preload a week or two before the game is released if you preorder.

This is very helpful because the size of the games are getting bigger and bigger. If you were to have to download a 40-50gb game the day it releases, for many people they are probably not going to be able to play that same day.
