Microsoft knew all along what they were doing. Strategy

Let's be honest microsoft took a lot of heat from gamers before console launch, a solid 9 months of bashing, they knew they had the games and exclusives all along and counter with a series of moves to BUILD HYPE and regain their fanbase's vote of confidence

1) Move 1: More launch titles
2) Move 2: Announce TitanFall beta
3) Move 3: Acquire Gears of Wars rights
4) Move 4: Announce Xbox One Patch, making it more graphically powerful

The first year in a console's lifecycle is the most significant. All these moves, while Sony is waiting in the dark playing with their thumbs. Xbox One already outsold PS4 in the month of December.

Smart moves Microsoft, keep announcing stuff. Shows dedication to the community!

Playstation 4's exclusive library in 2014: *Owl hoots twice*

The Xbox One board should be renamed to the Official "Troll Here" board.

In what way will the patch make the console more graphically powerful.

I still find it funny a few rehashed games, and a graphics demo of things that won't come,
suckered so many into the xbox.
An xbox where everything is behind a paywall,
games are riddled with micro transactions,
inferior hardware,
a spycam that innovates being lazy, not gaming,
broken party chats,
AA batteries,

Its pretty good jokes.

Obviously Sony is having a slow year for AAA titles, but they are at least still giving games out for ps+
and all the other positives that are functional not a puff of cloud.
Once xbox slows down and Sony takes off with games, it's no contest.

Would you rather a 100$ now, or 10k in 6 months if you can have patience.

Enjoy your launch lineup, try not to be jealous later though ;)

Yeah, It only took the 360 5 years to slow down. should happen any time now.......Maybe you should take up meditation to pass the time.

I'd say try not to be rustled now, but it's clearly too late.

Have to ask, how does the Kinect innovate being lazy? It doesn't take much more energy to use your thumbs to do something than it does to use your voice.

Read some xbro posts lol.
"I don't have to get up and grab the controller"

It's the little things like having to stand up is an issue that just seems lazy.
I never knew how serious people were with,
"hate getting up to swap discs"
Until digital took off and getting up to grab a controller/remote became the complaint.

Saying once xbox slows down was a mistake, your right I had an error. I mostly ment once Sony starts releasing more titles it won't be close. They are still keeping up, actually leading, with mostly only indie titles.

Nobody seriously thinks that way. And I thought the stereotypical xbro was a gym rat? I don't think they're the lazy gamers, I thought that title was reserved for that "PC Master Race."

I do have to admit, "Xbox, mute" may be the single greatest thing to happen to my home theater setup since the Logitech Harmony.
