Kill Xbox? So all they want him to do is continue the job the old CEO started...

As far as the Surface, in spite of the abysmal Windows 8/8.1, I own two of them. I love the hardware--the software, not so much.

Microsoft is the most boring stock any major investor who has any skin in MS is a moron.

Isn't it usually a good thing if stocks are boring?

he obviously has no clue what he is talking about.

I do a lot of investing on the side, and have made quite a profit over the past few years. Microsoft is just treading water. It's constantly underperforming and the growth they are trying to achieve is failing. The surface, the Windows Phone, Windows 8, all a bunch of failures. Microsoft is spread too thin and has no real hold over any market. In other words, it is just not a wise investment.

Bing and surface should be killed. Both are terrible. Xbox should continue on.

Surfaces (especially the Pro) are really nice and Bing pays me to use it so...

@ElPolloDiablo87

Surface is over priced, and them not making money or swinging enough users over to use Bing even with monetary incentives is why they want to drop it. It's called smart business.

Just a pre-emptive strike here but you can thank Ben Bernacke for the growth MS has had in 2013.

I ask you this. What stock didn't perform well in 2013?

The trolls and naysayers want the Xbox to fail so badly but in their blind hate they`re completely oblivious to how the healthy competition between console manufacturers benefits them. It`s an idiotic and short-sighted position to take at best. Be careful what you wish for . You`ll end up with the grand choice of one !
