Well i have a headset with 2 3.5mm jacks, one for a mic and one for the audio and an adapter to convert them into a USB. I tried to plug it into the USB on the console but nothing, the device is getting power but the mic doesn't pick up or anything. Do i have to pair it or set it up or is it just unsupported. Does anyone know?

Also any other ideas. My mic that came with the system was broken on arrival and MS wanted me to play shipping to fix it which i thought was ridiculous. I would really like to try and find a way to use my headset so i don't have to rely on Kinect.

No, because being able to have a USB headset would be too awesome. =/

ugh, looks like i still have to use the Kinect, or pay for a new headset that even if it worked will probably break in a month. Stuff like this is making me like my PS4 over my XB1 more all the time.

Merc, make the choice GameFAQS, the US, and gamers worldwide have.
