So as of now

The maximum amount of possible Titanfall sales on the XB1 is 3.6 million. This is if everyone who owns an Xbox one buys the game. Does anyone know the numbers of Call of Duty sales on XB1? I would expect Titanfall's numbers to be similar.

50% of Xboners bought CoD in the US. The Xbone version has been the best selling of all *next gen* video game SKU since launch.

Key words being "as of now". Saying Titanfall can sell a max of 3.6 million because there are currently 3.6 million consoles sold is just silly. There will be considerably more consoles sold as time progresses.

Well true, but let's say the console hits 7 million by the end of the year. Are the people who buy in Oct-Dec going to be buying a lot of copies of Titanfall for XB1?

This. Baring any TF2 in the next couple years TF will keep selling over time. New XB1 gamers will look to TF for the next couple years as one of the top FPS games.

No, Titanfall will move consoles so the total number could be higher. Especially with the Titanfall console. It's hard to judge now though since Titanfall is a new title we likely won't see how popular it really is until a month or so after the initial release (word of mouth, reviews etc.)

How many consoles will Titanfall sell? I think a million maybe at most. It is available on PC and 360 so it's not like the XB1 is the only place you can play.

Month 1. About 750K globally.

In the long term, you'd expect something that significant to add 20-25k sales a week globally, so an extra million or so consoles as long as the game is relevant...so until January 2015.

Short answer - An extra 1.75M consoles in its lifespan.

Sure, why not?

Well, some more people might buy an xbone and play it and how accurate is that 3.6m figure?

I'd say a 50% attachment rate would be awesome for any IP (let alone a new one) but no idea how realistic that is.

XB1 sales at 3.6 million.

Didn't see there was a thread for that link. Thanks :-)

Well most games just don't stay relevant for that long and players who are upgrading probably got their fill from PC or 360 versions by that point. This game will probably 29.99 or lower by the 2015 holiday season.
