Will my power brick be safe to use on the 360?

Has been a blow out on power cables in my street and the house is being run on generators... Xbox one is still working but 360 isn't so was wondering if I could test the console with the ones power brick to see if the actual console still works?

Dude if your house is running off of generators, save the fuel and take a break from gaming... Read a book or something.

And if you haven't figured it out by the smartassed comments above, don't use your power brick for anything other than the system it came with. Why would you even think that they are interchangeable?

I'm not trying to game, a lot of houses have had TVs and computers etc completely broken because of it and the company responsible are replacing everything affected so I'm trying to check everything over... And as for the power brick I thought they were the same thing but I've not tried simply due to these "clever sods" on here

OK gotcha. Sorry about that then. But still, we're way beyond interchangeable power cords these days. Keep that power brick away from it. Glad to hear that you're being covered for damages.
