Wireless with removeable Eneloop rechargeable batteries. Best of both worlds; rechargeable batteries that you don't have to rip your controller apart to replace if they stop accepting a charge.

indeed. now that alkalines are cheap as dirt, it's nice to be able to use my leftovers while the rechargeables recharge.

If it's wired, it doesn't need batteries. And and wireless controller should also be able to be wired.

To A the Q: bottom ejectable Li-ion battery, so I can take them out to store and charge.
