Just bought a samsung 40in LED 1080p T.V. Was just wondering should I leave everything standard or should I change some things?

Calibrate your TV (you'll probably want different settings for gaming, as opposed to Cable/movies/etc).

If you need help, post your model.

PS- lol, and yes, if this is a 1080p troll, funny, but i'll still help.

There is a really good calibration software on the Xbox One.
Hit start button, then settings, then display settings. And there is a calibration guide
Complete with test images.

Try the following, let me know what you think:

Backlight: 8
Contrast: 90
Brightness: 45
Sharpness: 20
Color: 52
Tint: G48/R52
Black Tone: Dark
Dynamic Contrast: LOW
Color Space: Auto
White Balance: Leave at factory for now
Gamma: -1
Color Tone: Warm 1

If you search AVS forums, I am sure you can find better settings, especially for some of the advanced settings. I have no idea how the Xbone calibration software is - some say it's great, some say it sucks.

Actually I just select paste on my tablet. Though I occasionally update the numbers manually if you have been excessively busy trolling.

Idk how that makes you "laugh your ass off" though....
