In my inbox on xbox live with some code too preview the xbox one updates.
Honestly i had no clue about this so this is a complete surprise too me! Anyone know what this update contains?

I think it's supposed to be the fixes for the party system coming in the March update. Not sure about the specifics though.

Would you really though?

We have all heard the horror stories of updates corrupting operating systems, or in some cases bricking them too. Granted the latter is often used by trolls on an all too frequent basis, which makes us more skeptical of those reporting genuine issues... So would you really want to accept the invite or wait it out?

I would ask if there was any loophole in this? As you are essentially choosing to download untested software on to your xbox, would this void any warranty or if there are any complications, what are their policies for reimbursements (ie free fast track shipping)?

I was in every dashboard beta for the 360 and never once had issues, let alone a bricked console. Sure there were bugs, but that's the point. I do recall one beta bricking older consoles on a very small scale but MS did right by them by replacing them all with 250gb slims. While there is an "at your own risk" disclaimer for all of their betas this proved they'd still take care of you if things went south.
