how different are the PC and Xbox One versions of COD Ghosts?

steam has a free weekend and I played it and my PC can run it maxed with AA turned only up to FXAA and it holds a good 62 FPS. How much different is the visual and frame rate quality?

Well, on a technical level, the Xbone version doesn't look anywhere near as good as the PC version thanks to the fact that it only renders at 720p. Here's a full technical breakdown if you want it.

Beyond just being superior on a technical level, the PC version obviously controls the best since you aren't stuck with imprecise and slow analog sticks that require hefty amounts of aim assist just to make the game somewhat playable. In short, it's an FPS. If you're not playing it on PC with a M&K, you're doing it wrong.

That being said though, I wouldn't get either version. The game is terrible and there's literally hundreds of better FPS's to be playing on PC.

I really hope the PC player count is low as I like to think we aactually have taste. Other than that it will be the superior version, though the visuals look like crap regardless

According to the Steam stats, there's 20k users playing it right now. And while it's probably by far the most played FPS on x360/Xbone right now, there's 8 FPS's that have more people currently playing them on Steam alone (CS: GO, TF2, Rust, CS, DayZ, CS:S, Arma3, and Borderlands 2). So yeah, PC gamers on average have much better taste in shooters.
