Do you think MS has gone forward with the Xbone or backwards since the 360 ?

3 months, to soon. The dash will improve, apps will improve. Remember the first years dash compared to the end result. Besides its really only about the games the rest is just a plus.

If it's about games why don't you choose PC or PS4 then? you have the best gaming experience, better graphics, cheaper cost. And according to last gen, you'll get better exclusive support too on Playstasion. Really the good thing about XBone is TV, TV and TV...

The Xbox One is a complete mess right now...The 360 runs smoother and more efficient than the so called next gen console

it's slow and clunky... and now there is a new bug when you go to the dash and video does not show.

It should have been better from the start, they have features missing we've had since the original xbox...

They knowingly released a inferior product compared to their last product.

they have a good track record of improving things...

The party system glitch should have been fixed a long time ago...you can't invite your friends to games if the party system is on the fritz...and that's 50% of the reason I went with XBOX LIVE...they should know better

Friends list is destroyed. Party system is destroyed. UI is a glitch filled mess. KINECT 2.0 still doesn't work often enough to justify it. Graphics look like last generation. These are all my observations and i returned mine.

I don't think you're going to be much happier with Sony or the PS4.

Just wait and you'll see, Sony will start to nickle and dime gamers. They already started with online play needing a PSN+ subscription and needing their music service for custom soundtracks. They are also already planning to charge a separate fee for streaming games. You also need to keep an active PSN+ account in order to use all those free games they give you.

People want to complain about MS putting things behind a paywall that should be free like YouTube, party chat and apps, but they've never been one to charge more for extra features like Sony is doing. ESPN, cable intergratioN, netflix have all been included in the price of gold XBL. When MS releases their own streaming solution, I see it being included with the standard XBL gold subscription as well. You're not going to get charge more for those features.

The worst MS would do is $5-$10 price hike across the board for everyone, to cover the cost, but it won't be separated out like Sony has done. MS has tried to be consistent that the system and service is all inclusive. They aren't selling you things via peacemeal and breaking up the experience.

If gamers want to stream their gameplay on twitch with the ps4 and do video commentary, they need to buy the PS camera to do it. (An extra cost) When the service is up and running on the XBO, you have kinect included. There won't be a need for games to have to buy anything else.

Didn't 360 sell horribly at first because of the RRoD debacle?

Nope. The rrod issues didn't really become a 'thing' until a year later when sales started to pick up. In the first year, it sold in low volumes because the PS2 still reigned the king of the consoles and people were waiting for the news of the PS3.

You don't think Microsoft is trying to nickel and dime people? They tried to charge over $100 real dollars for a single DLC car in Forza 5 ! Oh wait, you're right, they're not nickel and diming us, they're gouging us until we're bloody stumps of bone!

The 360 let you sate your gaming appetite with XB BC games until their library got large enough. Xbone has you having to be satisfied with whats out at launch.

you realize no one is forcing you to buy the car and its much more feasible to actually play the game and unlock it with in game credits

its not like sony is any better about this

@Laylow12

Content vs services. Nobody is forcing gamers to buy dlc for games and it's usually extra content that doesn't affect a gamers enjoyment of the base game. All that content can also be unlocked in the game under normal circumstances.

Please explain to me how an individual game's content is related to essential services and features for the system itself?

Again Sony is starting to nickle and dime gamers for essential services and features for the system.
