Microsoft says Xbox one price cuts are not out of desperation.

Everyone knows this out of desperation. There are getting outsold by the ps4 2-1 in the us and 5-1 and europe. They wouldn't bundle their system seller aswell as a price cut if there were sitting on shelves still in stock.

Not going to comment on price but the titanfall bundle could have been part of the exclusivity contract.

And do you think any company would say it was?
(Goes for any company including Sony)

Price cuts.... they happen.

It's a marketing ploy. I doubt they are hurting for sales even if the PS4 is selling more. Titanfall has gotten so much hype that Microsoft would be foolish to not capitalize on it.

It's not desperation it's strategy. When you say desperation you make it sound like Microsoft is dying or something which is the complete opposite of what is actually happening.

Microsoft could of atleast give the early adopters something. nintendo gave 20 games when they did the price cut for 3ds

"Yes, we are lowering the price of the Xbox One out of sheer desperation. Please, for the love of God, help us. Hell, you can even buy a system and then return it within 30 days. Nobody checks the figures on returns. HELP US," a Microsoft representative told us in an interview.

The Titanfall bundle is both good and bad.

On the positive side, pack-in titles have a way of adding perceived value to a system, especially if it is a big name title, as is the case here.

However, the fact that it is digital means that those TF sales won't be counted for official sales numbers, meaning that it will appear to have sold fewer copies than it did.
I HATE seeing incorrect information, regardless of whether it is my preferred system.

Yea..... whatever. You don't drop the price so soon when your selling well and making good money. What kind of fools do they take us for?
