Developers should focus on 900p, and 60FPS as average for now

Except Ryse is a linear hack and slash and Second Son is an open world game... quite a big difference.

Unless it is a card game like poker, or a board game like monopoly, I will take 60 fps over whatever resolution always. Frame rate should be priority one, and add whatever possible after.

Honestly, 900p 60fps will even be hard to maintain in a lot of games on XB1.

Im not judging the games for their genre, Im judging them on graphics alone which they both look amazing. I know the two genres are massively different which is why Im not comparing that. Ryse and inFamous should definitely be the go to games if anyone wants to show off their X1/PS4.

devs should just focus on creating good games.

Yup. Focus on making a fun game. Make a game that people want to replay because it is good and they aren't just trying to knock out acheivements. Then they can worry about what it looks like.

The ball is round, the game lasts 90 minutes. That's fact.
Everything else, is theory.

Framerate > resolution, as long as it's at least 720p of course.

Wrong. maintaining 1080p is the most important thing as long as the frame rate is 30 or above.

Did I say that, or just think it? Was I talking? Did they hear me??

1080p/30 is going to look a lot less pleasing than 720p/60. I can see the difference plain as day between 1080p and 720p, but the difference between 60 fps and 30 fps stands out even more so.

Games should be 1080p. It's 2014, it's pathetic to not have 1080p, look how long it's been out for. X1 will eventually get most newer games at 1080p, it's a learning process with devs.

From a company that basically touted that their software was easier to code for a decade & actually mocked Sony when they got devs to work hand in hand with them to make a console for developers to shine... It's hard to feel pity for them or even give them any sort of leeway.
