for the short term, no. i'll keep playing and using this system because I am loving it. love the Kinect voice controls, love the games so far, cant wait for titanfall.
in the long term... I does worry me a little bit. I LOVED the dreamcast. but it couldn't keep sega afloat in the consoler business. I just hope xbox doesn't fade away in a similar fashion --- My new video game & paintball blog: http://m-slender.tumblr.com/ Xbox One clips: https://www.youtube.com/soulcoffin
I'll be honest, I'm getting a PS4. But it shouldn't bother anyone that the console they choose sells less than the other major competitor. You should get a console that you know that you enjoy regardless of what happens in terms of sales numbers.
it's good for the industry the ps4 is outselling the x1. ms is trying to tell consumers what they want instead of listening to us consumers. ms could have a shot at turning things around by dropping kinect and refocusing on games for starters, but they dont want to do either of those things.
sony will continue to dominate this generation as long as it continues to listen to its customers.
i would not miss the xbox brand at all if it disappeared like dreamcast since sony does everything better and the market will still have plenty of competition between sony and the pc world and nintendo. --- 6>10>3>9>5>4>1>12>7>2>8>13
