I think my kinect broke...

So....first my kinect stopped recognizing the yes word. Now it says it's unplugged. I've rebooted the system checked the settings everything. I think it broke on me.

Kinda bummed. MS said they would replace it. I guess I can live without it for a bit.

i had an issue with my Kinect before, too. same thing, didn't register as being plugged in. called support, spent 20 mins with them going through the usual steps. good news though, was that they did the express replacement. I got a new Kinect in two days, then just popped my old one in the same box as the new one, then mailed it back the next day. so it wasn't that bad.

Yea I'll have to go through that most likely. Wier that it broke 3 months in. Better than 1 year after u guess.

Good luck with receiving your Kinect. I placed an advanced order for the same problem and it still hasn't shipped. Order was placed 2/13

At least you can still play the system where if the system launched as Microsoft intended you would not be able to.

But they still made it mandatory for Some features. As well as placing that annoying icon on the home screen.

That my case would be escalated to the advocacy team. They in turn have four business days to make contact. They will not make contact. You call back and the cycle starts again. Problem is there is no one to complain to. No way to hold anyone accountable. I was promised an email from a supervisor by the end of today. Guess what?
