Yet, it looks horrendous on the PS4 version compared to PC version. I'm not one for graphics, but man the difference was astronomical.

I'm notlol . I have both a PS4, XB1, and PC that could run it quite effectively (I just hate PC gaming). I'm optimistic that what I saw was an early PS4 build, and that they have plenty of time to improve upon it.

I agree with both of you. It's funny watching the butthurt ponies crow about their graphically inferior version because it's marginally less inferior than the next best inferior version. At least, I'm giving Yomo here the benefit of the doubt that he's agreeing with the common sense he quoted...

Now Sony trolls are bragging about 1080p again with Watch Dogs. Did any of you actually look at that new trailer? Isn't it supposedly PS4 graphics? My gosh, if I was a graphics whore that would be the most offensive "next gen" graphics I've seen since Crimson Dragon.

So what's it going to be this time around -- bad developer/bad port or all in on res differences? Let's settle it now so when the time comes there's no backpedaling on either side of the issue.

I'm going with res differences -- I don't think it is going to make a bit of difference in X1 owners' enjoyment of the title and to the extent that it will run at a steady 30fps it may even prove to be the better experience.


If it was truly the PS4 trailer imagine what the xbone will look like with a lower resolution and weaker specs.

The last number is pixel density. So, considering it's almost 2x the pixel density, yes, it's quite tragic.


1080i is more akin 720p it renders 1920x540 interlaced


1080i does not render anything, 1080i displays every other frame, then .3 of a second, displays the other half, the image is still 1920x1080 lines.
