Is that the one that comes with the console, or another. Picture?

Edit: I see it. Did a search.

I actually just poped in to make a topic asking for suggestions (shout out to "phoenix9192" for helping me understand how the new wireless sets connect/power) and personally im leaning towards the "polk audio 10 shot" but am a bit hesitant due to the chat issue that i do assume will b fixed, however, reguardless of the snobs out there who bash everything that isnt top of the line, ive actually read great things about the official xbox model, and for 80 bucks compared to 160 for polk...it might be worth it...how does it sound with music t.c.?

On my PC I use a pair of Audio-Technica AD700 attached to a Creative Xfi Titanium HD. I'm not an audiophile, but I know a decent pair of headphones when I try them.

I haven't tested it for music, just a few PvZ matches. Really pleased so far.

I enjoy mine but I admit that it was my "babby's first stereo headset."

I dunno how I played games without them before.

I think it looks pretty nice but I also think the sound quality sucks, and it's fairly damn uncomfortable. lol

I think the sound quality is better when hooked into my iPhone than the controller. The sound quality issue may be audio compression in the delivery mechanism from console to controller.

Was glad to help!

As far as the actual topic....I saw Major Nelson's twitch streams with the Microsoft headset and they looked nice and the microphone seems to be pretty clear. I went with the Atlas headset though so I can use it on my 360 and pc too. I also liked the Polks if I was going for just an Xbox One headset but the mic issue turned me off...supposed to be fixed though in a few weeks with an update.

I was going to buy it last night, but I heard it wasn't even simulated surround sound at all. Just purely left/right which is making me hesitate.
