All made today still have a few I have to cut.

Are you one of those silly little people that think if everything is great for you, it of course has to be great for everyone else?

Really?

Companies don't learn. But then again, consumers don't learn either -- so any crying is a joke to me.

Uhhh wrong, companies know full well what is going to happen on launch day

You missed the boat.

There is a difference between KNOWING something, and LEARNING from it.

Really? You bought a game on Day 1 and didn't expect some kind of bugs and glitches and errors?

Big or small?

What is this your first time playing a video game?

And this right here is why it's never going to change, folks.

Yup, the endless defense of s***** industry practices from so-called "gamers" is a cancer on the hobby.

I'm not defending anything. I don't even own an Xbox One and I have no intention of getting Titanfall but every game comes with it's share of first day glitches and bugs.. some worse than others.

You can't expect a perfect launch from every game. It's not the 'defenders' who are the cancer.. it's the selfish 'everything has to be my way! whine!' people who are the cancer.

It is not selfish to expect a game to work the day you buy it.

This is not "gamer entitlement". This is "I want my product to work the way it was sold to me". Somehow this shaming technique has gained validity, and it's part of the reason this hobby has fallen in quality. It's an excuse that allows inferior products out into the marketplace.

I am not ashamed to demand a quality product. Trying to shame those who expect nothing less than quality does nothing but defend inferior products.

It's not about quality or inferior quality. Things will be patched and brought up to snuff soon enough. It's not like the old days of NES where if a game was messed up then you were f***ed.. no a few patches within the next week and the issues will most likely be gone.

A product that needs patches within the first week is the definition of inferior quality. Patching and updating should be the minority situation. It shouldn't be expected as I'm peeling the cellophane off of a Day One purchase.

And as long as people accept that it's "just the way it is", it will never change. The public should hold the makers of such unfinished products accountable.

The paying customer shouldn't be a game's beta tester.
