is there ANY backwards compatability with Xbox one?

A modder found that you can play 360 games if you switch the console to devmode. M$ is just holding it back to charge us for games we already own.

I really hope you believe that and try it yourself.

The only thing it still retains is that you're paying for the online.

Yeah, there is. Except now, they charge you $40-$60 per game and call it the "Ultimate/ Definitive/ Whatever Edition".

Ps4 will have some form of backwards pat, with PSNOW due out this summer. Even though you only asked for X1

Even that isn't true backwards compatibility, as it isn't running the software natively nor is it running it through emulation. That's just streaming the game to your console, and even at that you have to pay to play the games on that service.

Personally I can't wait for Playstation Now, but let's not twist it into something it's not.

Just wanting to know, when I get it i plan to trade in my 360, but I want to know if I will be able to play any of my 360 games on the One or if I should trade them in too.

no. if you want backwards compatibility, you're really backwards.

If Xbox One added backwards compatibility, I'm positive you'd see it beat the PS4 in all directions. Why isn't this brought to the table? Seriously, all we'd need are updated drivers through one of the updates and walla, 360 games on the one.. Not hard.

While I mostly agree with that, I think you might be underestimating the effort involved just a tad.
